NewsDavid Bendall
A very long serving member of St Andrew's and former Lay Reader, David Bendall, died peacefully in his sleep on 1st September, 2010, after a very brief period of illness. Everyone at St. Andrew’s will miss him deeply, not least for the warm welcome they received as they entered church from him. Our prayers and thoughts are with Ann and the family at this sad time. They are grateful that David was able to die at home and that his suffering is now over. As Christians, we believe that David is now where pain and suffering are no more and where joy and light abound. I expect that there will be lots of music, singing and dancing – so David will be well prepared. David's funeral service is at 1:15pm in Church on Wednesday, 15th September.
