Service Details and Calendar
We offer a range of services, which take different forms, to suit individual preferences.
Sunday
8:00am Holy Communion. The service is spoken without music. It is quiet and reflective and attracts a regular congregation of 12 to 20 participants.
9:45am Parish Communion. This the main service of the day and attracts a congregation of about 100 to 120. The service structure is from the Anglican Common Worship but is presented in a relaxed and inclusive manner. Hymns are a mix of traditional and new from the book Hymns Old and New.
6:30pm Evening Worship comprises a range of styles and formats. It may be a Choral Evensong, with musical offerings from the choir, or it may be an informal service e.g. in a Celtic or Taize style. Once every month it is a service of Holy Communion. [Please note that during the Interregnum this service is conducted once a month on the 4th Sunday of the month]
Come Together This is an informal service, which is mostly designed and led by laity. It aims to present the Gospel of Jesus in novel ways using drama, humour and puppetry. It runs once a month (see future programme) at 9:45.
Wednesday
9:30am Holy Communion The service is spoken without music. It offers an opportunity for mid-week communion to a small but regular congregation. [Please note that during the Interregnum this service is conducted twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month]
Home Communion
We offer home communion to those who are ill or otherwise disabled from coming to church. Contact the Vicar to arrange (please contact the office during the Interregnum).
Healing Ministry
On the first Sunday of each month we offer a healing ministry at the 8:00 and 9:45 services; a team member will pray with anyone seeking healing for themselves or another.
The church holds regular, dedicated, prayer sessions.
