LENT GROUP STUDY FOR 2026
Ash Wednesday is 18th February, and our Lent Groups will start to meet in the week commencing Monday 23rd February. We will be following the course ‘Christianity Explored’. The course focusses on the gospel of Mark. The course takes us ‘back to basics’ to discover the identity, mission and call of Jesus; who He is, what He achieved and how He calls us to respond.
Over five sessions we will be reading Mark’s Gospel and exploring these themes
Each week is made up of a short Bible study, a video – and group discussion. (There will be a bit of reading homework!).Meeting in a small group – usually about eight people – gives all us the opportunity to get to know one another, and to share our faith in a relaxed and informal setting. Everyone is welcome – especially if you have never attended a group before ! You will need the course booklet – available from any group leader. You do not have to attend every week. Details of the groups – location, day /time of meeting and the leaders name are on the poster at the back of Church. Speak to the Vicar or any of the leaders for more information.
